Ed Lane is the Vice President of Digital Strategy for RX Americas, where he helps shape the vision and strategy for digital products and platforms that enhance customer Return on Experience (ROE)—a metric that evaluates the value, satisfaction, and outcomes customers gain across their event journey, both in person and online. Ed joined RXUS in 2008 after serving as Director of eCommerce at Paper.com. He was recruited to build RX’s first year-round online directory products and was later promoted to Director of Digital, where he spent a decade advancing digital initiatives across the full RXUS event portfolio. His work has included matchmaking, online showcases, discovery tools, and data driven engagement solutions. He has held international assignments with RX France and on RX’s global product team in the UK, contributing to global digital strategy and innovation. Ed rejoined RXUS in 2022 to help accelerate digital capabilities across the Americas region. He currently serves as Chairperson of the IAEE Event and Technology Committee, helping guide industry wide perspectives on event technology, digital trends, and innovation.
