Join us for a timely conversation with Bryant Preston, Assistant Director, Tradeshow and Display, IATSE, as we explore the current state of labor in the exhibitions and events industry. Bryant will share insights on workforce trends, evolving labor needs, challenges impacting the tradeshow environment, and what organizers should be watching as they plan for the future. The conversation will also provide an opportunity for MATSO members to ask questions and discuss how changes in the labor landscape are affecting their shows and organizations. Come prepared for an open, candid conversation about what’s happening now—and what may be ahead.

Bryant Preston is an International Representative in the Tradeshow department, and President of Local 7. He also serves as President of the Colorado AFL-CIO, District 5 Secretary, and chair of the Education sub-committee of the IATSE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. Born and raised in Colorado, he has been an IATSE stagehand since 2004 working in all crafts including film, stage, and tradeshow.
