Vice President, Business Development, Northeast Region
CNTV
John Wilson is Vice President of Business Development at CNTV, where he collaborates with associations and trade show organizations to advance their goals, missions, and ideas through strategic video content. He brings more than 30 years of experience in broadcast journalism, most recently serving as Vice President of News in Philadelphia, overseeing a major broadcast and digital news operation. John’s first contract project with CNTV in 2023 was, in his words, “love at first sight.” That experience led to the creation of a business development role that allowed him to carry his background in storytelling, strategy, and audience engagement into the events industry. Today he helps organizations capture the energy of their events and turn it into content that connects with audiences year-round. What he enjoys most is joining the mission of the organizations he works with, building strong relationships, and helping them tell stories that matter to their members and communities. John lives in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with his wife. They have two adult children. His home office is shared with Mojo, a border collie.
