El curso incluye una copia digital del libro de texto *The Art of the Show: An Introduction to the Study of Exhibition Management* (6.ª edición). Esta obra, escrita por profesionales del sector para estudiantes y colegas de la industria, abarca temas como la planificación de exposiciones, el diseño de planos de planta, la seguridad, las consideraciones sobre la sede del evento, entre otros. La evaluación de preparación laboral (*Workforce Ready Assessment*) forma parte del curso y consta de 175 preguntas basadas en el contenido del libro *The Art of the Show* y en los conceptos clave repasados en los videos de cada capítulo. La evaluación fue diseñada por académicos del sector de exposiciones y eventos, basándose en las competencias establecidas en el Modelo de Competencias para Hostelería, Turismo y Eventos de la *Employment and Training Administration* (ETA) del Departamento de Trabajo de los EE. UU. Al aprobar dicha evaluación, recibirás un certificado y una insignia digital de *Workforce Ready*. Además, este curso con certificación otorga 3 horas lectivas válidas para la recertificación CEM.

This Exhibitions Industry Workforce Ready Course will introduce each chapter for The Art of Show and exhibitions industry key terms and concepts. The course will include an assessment to measure the essential workplace skills necessary to enter the exhibitions and events industry. Whether you are a student graduating or are interested in the industry, this course is designed specifically for participants with 0-2 years of experience in the exhibitions and events industry.
A digital copy of The Art of the Show: An Introduction to the Study of Exhibition Management 6th Edition textbook is included in this course. The Art of the Show is written by exhibition industry professionals for the industry and students including sections on exhibition planning, floor plan design, safety and security, venue considerations and more. The Workforce Ready Assessment is included and is comprised of 175 questions which are based on the content in The Art of the Show and key concepts are reviewed in the videos for each chapter. The assessment was designed by academia in the exhibitions and events industry and supported by competencies found in the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) Hospitality, Tourism, and Events Competency Model through the U.S. Department of Labor. Upon successful completion of the Workforce Ready Assessment, you will receive a Workforce Ready certificate and digital badge.In addition, this Certificate Course is eligible for 3 clock hours towards CEM recertification.

Participants must download the Art of the Show, read each chapter, and then watch each chapter's video. Each chapter will have an optional infographic to download to help reinforce the key terms and concepts. The Workforce Ready Assessment Quiz will be at the end of the course. Participants must pass by at least 70% in order to unlock the Workforce Ready Certificate of Completion and the downloadable Workforce Ready digital badge.
