CEM Recertification

If you are taking a CEM course for recertification, make sure you register for the course that starts with "RECERTIFICATION". The virtual and on-location classes have not changed; you will still be participating with CEM candidates. It is just the registration process that is different.

The CEM recertification policy states that all CEMs are required to earn 15 credit hours as well as pay a renewal fee, every three years. Credit hours may be earned through a combination of three categories. All credit hours may be applied from professional continuing education; a combination of professional continuing education and leadership activities; or all from formal education. The sessions below are worth 5 clock hours/credits towards CEM recertification. Credits earned by attending CEM courses are automatically added to your account - you do not need to add them! Once you reach the required 15 credits, you may pay your renewal fee of $150 USD. Go to the IAEE Member Dashboard and click on Renew Certification under the Certifications section.
